Tyler Colton joined Fairport from Demming Financial Services in early 2022 where he worked as an Associate Advisor. During his time there, Tyler was involved in every aspect of the financial planning process, including preparation of comprehensive financial plans and tax planning for high-net-worth families.

Prior to Demming, he spent four years at Corrigan Krause CPAs, climbing the ladder from Associate to Senior Associate, and eventually to Supervisor. Tyler brings experience working extensively with BNA, eMoney, Excel and QuickBooks.

Tyler is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is also a candidate for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He is a three-time graduate of West Virginia University (WVU) with bachelor’s degrees in business administration – accounting (2016) and sport management (2012), and a master’s degree in sport management (2013).

Tyler lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his two young children, Magdalena and Clifford. As a born and raised West Virginian, Tyler is an avid fan of the WVU athletic teams and enjoys taking regular trips back to see his family. He also enjoys being outside when the weather allows and exploring new bars and restaurants throughout the area.
