Kenneth J. Coleman
As Managing Partner, Ken Coleman brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry including wealth management, insurance, and banking. He offers experience in M&A transactions and capital structures. Ken is responsible for executing the team’s business plan and integrating all major operating functions of the company.
Ken has been with Fairport since its founding, having joined Roulston & Co. in 1999. He has served in the positions of Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President. Previously, he was a President of National City Bank’s Insurance Services Group and Senior Vice President with Capitol American. Ken is an alumnus of Ashland University, where he earned a B.A. in Management and Economics. Ken is a graduate of Leadership Cleveland, Class of 2015.
Active in the local community, Ken currently serves on the Board of the National Center on Non-Profit Enterprise, as well as an Emeritus Committee member, and past Chairman, of the Board of Directors for Midtown Cleveland, Inc. Ken is also a member of Greater Cleveland Partnership Government Affairs Council and Board member of a private manufacturing company.
Ken resides in Chagrin Falls with his wife Jan and has two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Ken enjoys hiking, kayaking, watching sports and spending time with his grandchildren.
Heather R. Ettinger
Founder & CEO
As Managing Partner, Heather Ettinger has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including leadership roles in client acquisition and services, operations and strategic planning. As an Advisor, Heather specializes in helping clients and their families create strategic financial plans to guide them through life transitions, such as losing a spouse, divorce, selling a business, retiring or a career change.
Heather is widely recognized for her dedication to helping women build their financial acumen and wealth, culminating in the launch of Luma Wealth Advisors in 2017. She co-authored two studies about women entitled “Women of Wealth: Why Does the Financial Services Industry Still Not Hear Them?” and “Women of Wealth: What Do Breadwinner Women Want?” Heather has been featured in publications including the Wall Street Journal, Barrons and Bloomberg and is a frequently requested speaker and panelist, both locally and nationally. For her impact on the financial industry and demonstrated willingness to share her experiences, she was honored on Investment News’ inaugural Women to Watch list in 2015.
Having joined Roulston & Co. in 1987, Heather has been with Luma Wealth since its inception. She previously served as an Equity Trader for Jefferies and a Research Analyst for both Bordier & Cie and Baring Brothers.
Heather remains an active supporter of both her alma maters, Dartmouth College, where she earned a B.A., and the Laurel School, where she served on the Board of Directors for 12 years. She is active with In Counsel with Women and the nationally recognized wealth management study group Family Wealth Advisors Council. Heather serves on the Board of Directors of University Hospitals Health System, the advisory council for Racing Towards Diversity magazine and the planned giving council at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Heather lives in Shaker Heights with her husband and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys playing ice hockey, snow skiing and cycling.
Brant D. Appel
Manager of Finance and Operations
Brant Appel joined the team in 2016 as the Manager of Operations. A licensed attorney in both Ohio and Illinois, he brings a new perspective to his role at Fairport. Brant is responsible for a myriad of internal business functions including billing, internal accounting, and analytics.
Brant earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Akron’s College of Business Administration. Prior to attending the University of Akron, Brant received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois, College of Law cum laude and a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
Brant is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honors society comprised of business school graduates in the top 20% of their class. He has been a member of the Ambassadors Committee of The First Tee of Cleveland since 2016. Brant lives in downtown Cleveland and enjoys spending summer evenings at Progressive Field and fall afternoons at First Energy Stadium.
Aaron Blasinsky joined the Luma Wealth team in 2019 as Portfolio Administrator. Prior to joining Fairport, Aaron worked for Citizens Bank where he helped his clients identify and reach their financial goals. As Portfolio Administrator, he executes security transactions and maintains Fairport’s investment models. Aaron is a graduate of West Virginia University where he earned his B.B.A. degree in Finance. During his time at WVU, Aaron was a member of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics Student Managed Investment Fund and served as secretary of the WVU International Business Club.
Aaron currently volunteers with Youth Opportunities Unlimited, where he helps students from economically challenged areas prepare to enter the workforce and begin their careers. During his free time Aaron enjoys running and cheering on the Indians, Cavs and Mountaineers.
David J. Bosak, CFP ®
A Certified Financial Planner™ professional with over 10 years of industry experience, David Bosak brings strong risk management and trust administration skills to Fairport. David is responsible for meeting with clients, researching client issues, as well as preparing and presenting client core deliverables. This includes evaluating the client’s current financial position and recommending strategies for investment management, tax planning, estate planning, risk management and reviewing results regularly to evaluate the client’s progress toward his/her financial goals.
David educates clients on financial planning principles, investment philosophy, portfolio strategies and market views and clients benefit from his deep knowledge of fiduciary, tax and other wealth-related issues.
Prior to joining Fairport in 2014, David worked at KeyBank as a Trust Officer, Investment Operations Specialist and Internal Auditor. David earned his MBA from Cleveland State University, as well as a B.S.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Akron. He is an active member in the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland.
In his spare time, David enjoys spending time outdoors and supporting Cleveland sports.
Tricia L. Cindric
Client Service Manager
With over 20 years of client service experience, Tricia Cindric brings a wealth of knowledge and competency to her role as a Client Service Manager at Fairport. Tricia is responsible for handling day-to-day client requests and inquiries. She is known for her attention to detail and tirelessly representing the client’s best interest with outside advisors, custodians and third party sources.
Tricia joined Fairport in 2016 from Gates Group Capital Partners, where she worked for over ten years serving as the main point of contact between the team’s top executives and outside parties. She was also the lead contact in charge of investor relations, in addition to handling operations and cash management for the team.
Before Gates Group, Tricia spent nearly a decade at Richard L. Bowen and Associates, where her primary responsibility was to provide support to project managers in serving their clients.
Tricia is a Notary Public in the state of Ohio. She lives in Mentor with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys traveling and hiking with her family, reading, good food, and live music.
Andrew R. Connors, CFP®, CEPA®
Andrew R. Connors is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional with 20 years of experience in the personal financial management arena. He has experience in advising family business owners how they can align their personal, family and business goals. His mission and purpose is to positively impact the long-term well-being of closely-held and family business owners by helping them create and maintain multi-generational wealth. He is known for his ability to translate complex financial strategies and concepts into understandable, actionable ideas.
Prior to receiving his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Andrew attended John Carroll University where he earned a B.S.B.A. He earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. He is a past Board President and a current Trustee for Esperanza, Inc and serves on the Executive and Advisory board of the John Carroll Entrepreneurs’ Association, the Northeast Ohio Advisory Committee of the Exit Planning Institute and is a member of the Cleveland chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
Andrew and his wife Anne-Marie have twin boys. He balances his love for good food and wine with spending time outdoors and staying active through hiking, biking and fishing.
Callie H. Cornett, CFP®
Callie H. Cornett is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional with over fourteen years of experience in the wealth management industry. As an Advisor at Fairport, Callie is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning for high net worth clients.
Callie joined Luma Wealth in August of 2016 from Spero-Smith Investment Advisors. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Hawthorn, a division of PNC Wealth Management, as a Wealth Strategist/Assistant Vice President providing integrated wealth management services to corporate executives, multi-generational families and entrepreneurs.
She began her career at National City (PNC) as a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Executive Services department. Callie holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Ohio University. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Northeast Ohio where she serves as Director of Programming & Education, the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, the Union Club and Fun(d) First, a local giving circle founded by professional women.
She lives in Westlake with her husband and daughter. In her free time, Callie enjoys spinning, boating and spending time with her extensive family.
Joseph M. Coyne, CPA
Joe Coyne, a licensed CPA in the State of Ohio, joined in 2018 with more than 5 years of tax and accounting experience. Prior to Luma Wealth, Joe worked for The NRP Group, first as a property management accountant and most recently as a Senior Internal Auditor where he led the analysis of company policies and procedures to determine risk within business units. Before that, Joe worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Senior Tax Consultant.
He earned a double major B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Mercyhurst University. While in college, Joe played four years of football and interned at National Interstate Insurance Company and Northwestern Mutual Financial. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs. Joe lives in Cleveland with his fiancé Kelly.
In his spare time, Joe can be found playing Gaelic football on the Cleveland GAA team while serving as its Treasurer. Joe is an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoys supporting new local businesses. He also enjoys home renovations and investing in real estate.
Pamela S. Dagostino
Client Service Manager
Pamela Dagostino brings over 14 years of experience to her role as Client Service Manager, since joining the practice in 2004. Pamela is responsible for handling day-to-day operations for clients, as well as providing continuity among differing teams and niche groups. She is notably adept at building close, personal relationships with her clients.
Before joining the practice, Pamela was the Culinary Coordinator at Sur La Table and the Executive Assistant to the Mayor of the City of South Euclid. She attended Kent State University and the Loretta Paganini School of Cooking. Pamela recently received the Woman of Professional Excellence award from the YWCA Greater Cleveland, exemplifying the great service she has done in and for her company and community.
Pam lives in South Euclid, Ohio, and plans to volunteer in a local WomenSafe resale shop on weekends. Pamela enjoys baking for friends and family alike, is an avid gardener and loves to spend time with family.
Richard P. D’Amico, CFA
Manager of Investments
Richard D’Amico, a CFA charterholder, serves as the practice’s Manager of Investments. He brings more than 16 years of experience to the Investment Team, where he oversees the implementation of the practice’s fixed income models and is responsible for the review and oversight of alternative investments and strategies.
Before joining the practice in 2009, Rick served as a market risk review analyst for KeyBank and as a licensed equity research analyst at Great Lakes Capital Partners Ltd., covering regional bank and thrift companies. He is a graduate of Mount Union College, where he obtained a B.A. in Business Administration with a Finance concentration. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Cleveland.
Rick lives in Rocky River, Ohio, with his wife Shannon and son. In his free time, he enjoys playing baseball and spending time outdoors.
Tia M. D’Aveta, FPQP™
Client Service Manager
As Client Service Manager, Tia D’Aveta is responsible for handling day-to-day client requests and coordinating on their behalf with custodians, such as Schwab and Fidelity. Since joining the team in 2014, she has been an integral part of providing clients with individualized service through her initial reception desk responsibilities and then in her work supporting marketing and the client teams. Clients appreciate Tia’s upbeat attitude and helpful nature and look forward to seeing her in the office and at events.
Tia graduated from Notre Dame College where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration. Her college education was 100% self-financed with multiple customer-service related jobs. She holds the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation through The College for Financial Planning.
Tia resides in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and being outdoors.
Peter P. DeVito, CPA, CFP ®
Peter DeVito is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner™ with over 25 years of wealth management experience. As an Advisor, Peter provides comprehensive financial planning and investment services to clients and their families. His skills includes income tax, estate, retirement, cash flow planning, asset allocation analysis, executive stock option strategies, charitable and family wealth transfer planning.
Peter graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S.B.A in Accounting. He earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning, and began his career at Ernst & Young in Cleveland. Before joining the practice in 2005, Peter was a Client Tax Executive at McCormack Advisors International, a former division of IMG. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association. Peter serves on the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee for Merrick House and is a volunteer Cleveland Diocese CYO coach.
He resides in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, with his wife Beth and three sons. In addition to playing golf and enjoying outdoor activities with his boys, his family fosters rescue dogs.
Emily A. Drake, CFP®, AEP®
Emily Drake is a financial services professional with more than 30 years of experience in personal financial management. As an Advisor, Emily offers comprehensive financial planning and investment services that are tailored for the uniquely individual needs of each client. Emily is known, not only for her in-depth financial knowledge, but also for her empathy for the emotional aspects of financial decision-making, especially in times of challenging transition.
In 2017, Emily was recognized by the YWCA Greater Cleveland as a Woman of Achievement for her commitment to empowering women, especially around their finances. Prior to joining the team in 2000, Emily held leadership positions at McDonald Trust Company and Ameritrust National Bank in Cleveland. Her career began in New York City with two Wall Street firms — Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette, and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Emily holds a B.S. from Grand Valley State University and is a graduate of the National Trust Graduate School of Northwestern University. She earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. Emily is Chairperson of The Benjamin Rose Institute and serves as a board member of the Saint Luke’s Foundation and the Union Club. Emily is also a member of the Cleveland Estate Planning Council and serves on the Planned Giving Council to the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Dana G. Hastings, CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®, CEPA
Dana G. Hastings joined the team in 2018 and brings more than 30 years of wealth management experience to Luma Wealth. Dana is a highly qualified financial planning and investment professional with great experience in working with high net worth individuals, executives, healthcare professionals and small business owners.
Dana’s loyalty and passion for her work plays into the meaningful, long term relationships she holds with clients. Dana started her career at Gries Financial Services Inc, and most recently came from C2P Advisory Group where she was the Vice President, working in business development.
Dana has a MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and a B.A. from Mount Union College. She earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation and Masters of Science in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. She also holds ChFC and RICP designations. Dana is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, as well as the Financial Planning Association of North East Ohio. She is a Trustee of Fill This House, a faith-Based nonprofit organization. Dana is also part of the 100+ Women Who Care organization, Cleveland metro Chapter, donating to various charities in the Cleveland area.

Christopher Isabella serves as an Advisor at Luma Wealth, offering clients more than 25 years of industry experience. As a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist, Chris provides comprehensive financial planning services to clients in the core areas of investment, tax, net worth, insurance, estate, philanthropy, and benefits, while generating new business and leading a team of professionals. He is known for his thoughtful nature and meticulous attention to detail.
Chris began his professional career at Price Waterhouse in Cleveland. Before joining the practice in 2006, Chris was a Vice President and Financial Account Executive at McCormack Advisors International, a former division of IMG.
Chris graduated from Cleveland State University with a B.B.A in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Mike J. Kalinoski
Senior Portfolio Administrator and Trader
Michael Kalinoski joined the practice in 2016. As Senior Portfolio Administrator and Trader, Mike is responsible for implementing security transactions and maintaining the practice’s investment models.
He comes to Luma Wealth from PNC Bank, where he served for over two years as a Senior Operations Analyst. At PNC, his main responsibilities were trading, training and reconciliation of client statements.
Mike earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Toledo in 2012, where he was a member of the student-managed portfolio team. A CFA candidate and member of the CFA Society Cleveland, he is excited to become more involved in the Cleveland finance community.
Mike currently lives in Olmsted Township, Ohio, and enjoys following Cleveland sports in his free time.
Client Service Manager
Noemi Lopez brings over 20 years of client service and support experience to Luma Wealth. In her role as Client Service Manager, Noemi serves as a first point of contact for new and existing relationships. She prides herself in providing an individualized client experience, while working closely with families to accomplish their personal financial goals.
Prior to joining the practice in 2018, Noemi was a Portfolio Management Associate at Key Private Bank for 12 years. In that role, she performed complex administration of asset transactions and directly supported her team in the creation of deliverables, for approximately 400 ultra-high net worth client relationships.
Prior to her role at Key, Noemi held the title of Client Associate for 7 years at Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Group in Cleveland.
Noemi resides in Cleveland, Ohio, with her husband Eddie, their three children, and their two dogs. In her free time Noemi enjoys working out, dancing and reading. Noemi has a bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Kristen T. Lucas
Chief Marketing Officer
Kristen Lucas brings over 15 years of industry experience to Luma Wealth, serving in client relationship and marketing capacities. She is integral in the construction and coordination of the team’s niches and played a prominent role in the development and successful launch of Luma Wealth.
Kristen joined Luma in 2003, serving in a variety of client service roles, providing her with an intimate understanding of Luma Wealth clients and their families. She is known for producing the annual client appreciation event, exemplifying one of the many ways she has shaped Luma’s strong community culture.
A graduate of Allegheny College, she holds a B.A. in English. Passionate about finding a cure for diabetes, Kristen fundraises as a team walk captain for local JDRF and ADA chapters. She is a supporter and founding friend’s committee member of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland.
A reflection of her character, Kristen has recently received the YWCA Greater Cleveland's Distinguished Young Woman’s award, as well as one of Crain’s Cleveland 40 Under 40.
Kristen and her husband Jeff live in Cleveland Heights with their young daughter. She enjoys reading, cooking, live music and traveling.
Rachel A. Margulis CPA/PFS
Rachel A. Margulis is a Certified Public Accountant with over 12 years of experience in tax planning and compliance. Rachel supports multiple client teams as an Advisor and is responsible for the preparation of client core deliverables including asset allocation, cash flow, balance sheet, income tax planning and compliance, estate planning and forward-looking financial planning.
Before joining the practice in 2008, Rachel worked at MAI Wealth Advisors, a former division of IMG. Rachel earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting from Cleveland State University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Tax Club of Cleveland. She is also a volunteer tax preparer with the Cuyahoga Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition.
Rachel resides in Cleveland, Ohio, and is an avid fitness enthusiast. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and kayaking.
Sara L. Miller
Sara L. Miller supports Luma Wealth’s leadership as executive assistant to the team’s Managing Partners, COO and CMO. She manages the complexities of the administrative tasks for the leadership team to help ensure client focus and efficient operations.
Prior to joining the Luma Wealth team, Sara held senior support positions within the transportation, construction, asset recovery and real estate industries. In those increasingly responsible roles, she held office management responsibilities, introduced calendar management systems, oversaw event logistics and collaborated across departments to help enable senior leaders to focus on organizational goals and fulfill day-to-day obligations.
Sara gives back to the community through volunteer efforts as a Disaster Cycle Services Response Team member with the American Red Cross and a shelter volunteer with the Berea Animal Rescue Fund. She resides in Westlake with her two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, dancing and live music.
Aaron S. Nuti, CFA, CFP®, CAIA
Aaron Nuti is an Advisor who works with emerging affluent and high net worth families, helping them to define and achieve their long-term financial goals and objectives.
Aaron knows that each family has its own unique set of goals and objectives and he believes that working side by side helps them to live the life they envision and take care of what is most important.
Aaron has worked at Luma for over eight years providing holistic wealth management solutions, which includes but is not limited to risk management, investment, estate, and tax planning. Prior to joining Fairport, Aaron worked as a Portfolio Manager at Key Private Bank where he oversaw portfolios for affluent and high net worth families.
Aaron is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Cleveland, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.
Aaron holds a B.S.B.A in Finance and an MBA from John Carroll University.
Aaron resides in Concord Township with his wife Angelee, their three dogs and cat. In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is a fan of all Cleveland sports teams.
As the receptionist at Luma Wealth, Elizabeth (Lisa) Rimback serves as the team’s first in-person impression and conduit to its team members. In her role, Lisa creates a professional and inviting environment while applying her organizational skills to navigate scheduling and logistics.
Lisa began her career as an auditor with a regional accounting firm where she was also named a United Way Loaned Executive. Most recently, Lisa was the Program Director for a homeschooling campus in Cleveland, Ohio where she trained tutors and oversaw financial functions for the campus. Her technical and organizational skills, accredited financial acumen and softer “people” skills make her an ambassador for Fairport.
Lisa holds a B.S. in Accounting from The Ohio State University and is CPA eligible. Lisa and her husband Pete live in South Euclid and have four children. She is an active member of her church and enjoys learning, reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.
David J. Rubis
David Rubis brings over ten years of financial planning, business development and management experience to the practice. As Advisor, Dave is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment services to high net worth clients and their families.
David joined Luma in February of 2017 from Spero-Smith Investment Advisors/HPM Partners where he worked as a Client Adviser with relationship and business development responsibilities. Prior to that, he was part of the Global Family & Private Investment practice at The Northern Trust Company in Chicago where he managed a team responsible for complex investment, reporting and planning needs for large families. He also served as a Retail Sales Manager at Belmont Bank & Trust and as a Bank Manager at National City Bank and BMO Harris Bank in Chicago.
David earned a B.S. in Business Finance from Miami University and a MBA with a concentration in Management from North Central College. He is actively engaged in the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland serving on the Membership Committee, as well as a Trustee for the Strongsville Education Foundation spearheading their Grant Committee, and the Treasurer for the Polish Veteran’s Alliance Post #1.
David lives in Strongsville with his wife Maggie and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family and friends, cooking, traveling, attending sporting events and playing volleyball, basketball and golf.
Tom A. Seifert, CPA/PFS
Tom A. Seifert is a Partner at Luma, offering more than 30 years of industry experience. He is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment services to clients, generating new business and leading a team of professionals. As a Certified Public Accountant, Tom provides clients with individualized advice regarding complex tax-related planning and asset-allocation matters.
Before joining Luma in 2002, Tom was a Principal at Paragon Advisors, Inc. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Vice President at Sterling, a division of National City Bank. He began his professional career at Price Waterhouse in Cleveland, also spending time in the national office in New York.
Tom graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Ohio Society of CPAs. His community involvement includes serving as Vice Chair of Administration on the Board of Directors for Beech Brook. He is also a member of the Gesu Parish Endowment Board.
He resides in Pepper Pike with his wife Tracy and two sons. In addition to being an avid runner and golfer, Tom enjoys following Cleveland sports as well as Notre Dame football.
Emily N. Shacklett, CPA/PFS, AEP®
Emily N. Shacklett, CPA, offers more than 20 years of industry knowledge in her role as Partner at Luma. Emily’s thorough industry knowledge, attention to detail and entrepreneurial attitude make her an invaluable member of the Luma Wealth team. She has experience in providing advice regarding complex tax-related matters, executive stock options and related planning strategies.
Emily’s approach to working with corporate executives is an individualized process with a particular focus on proactive tax planning and tax minimization strategies. These strategies include examining tax implications of company equity and cash incentive plans, generating forward-looking cash flow models, recommending diversification and risk mitigation tools around concentrated company stock holdings, managing executive’s company ownership requirements and implementing investment strategies.
Prior to joining Luma in 2001, Emily held leadership positions at Brockman Coats Gedelian & Co. and KPMG. She graduated with honors from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Emily is a Board Member and current President of the Cleveland Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the Union Club of Cleveland where she leads the Food, Beverage and Service Committee and serves on the Membership/Marketing and Member’s Events Committees. Emily resides in Richfield with her family and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors, reading and supporting Cleveland sports.
Katie S. Sheehan, CFA, CAIA
Katie Sheehan joined the team in 2017 as a Portfolio Manager. As a member of the practice’s Investment Team, Katie is responsible for helping set investment strategy and overseeing the implementation of the practice’s impact investing models. Katie was previously with PNC as a member of the Investment Strategy and Services group, where she was responsible for providing fixed income strategy guidance as well as fiduciary oversight for all discretionary fixed income securities.
She received both her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Cleveland State University and has taught undergrad finance at her alma mater. Katie is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and sits on the board of directors for the CFA Society Cleveland.
Katie resides in Westlake with her husband Jason and their daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and staying active.
John M. Silvis, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
John M. Silvis, a CFA charterholder, serves as the team’s Chief Investment Officer. John oversees the research of the Investment Team, determines the asset allocation of model portfolios, and directs investment decisions and implementation. John provides clients, prospects and internal staff with guidance about the team’s investment philosophy, process and performance. He is also responsible for periodically updating the team on current market and economic conditions.
John brings over 20 years of experience to the Investment Team and has been with the team since 2000. John began his career at Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and prior to joining the team, he was a Portfolio Manager at National City Bank. John obtained a B.A. in Economics from Penn State University and his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
He is a current member in good standing of the CFA Institute and a longtime member of the CFA Society Cleveland. John recently completed a term as President at the CFA Society, having served in the past as Vice President, Treasurer and Chair of the Investment Committee. John is a past member of the Investment Committee for the Benjamin Rose Institute where he served for 5 years. He is currently serving on the investment committee of the Kelvin and Eleanor Smith Foundation where he serves as Chairman. Additionally, John is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and the Professional Advisors Committee of the Catholic Community Foundation.
John lives in Strongsville with his wife Lori and his three children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, traveling and is an avid Penn State fan.
Chief Operating Officer
Paul B. Stetz brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been partnering and consulting with Registered Investment Advisors and their executive leadership teams since 2005.
Prior to joining Luma Wealth, Paul held leadership positions with Schwab Advisor Services and Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, where he successfully led Sales & Relationship Management teams focused on developing trusted partnerships, delivering strategic consulting and value-added solutions to Registered Investment Advisors and their end clients.
Most recently, Paul was a Managing Director with Mercer Advisors, where he successfully led the firm’s mergers and acquisitions strategy in the Central, Great Lakes and Northeast Regions. This experience provided a deep understanding of the M&A landscape, deal structure and trusted relationships with RIA firms and industry partners across the country.
Paul graduated from Baldwin Wallace University. He and his wife Valerie have three children and are in the process of relocating to the Cleveland area from Boston. In his free time, Paul likes to spend quality time with his family and enjoys fitness.
Michelle L. Taylor, CRPC®
Michelle L. Taylor joined Luma Wealth as Advisor in 2017 and brings more than 20 years of wealth management experience to the team. In her role, she is responsible for both client deliverables and managing client relationships.
Michelle’s experience and strategic skill set make her particularly adept at working within Luma’s women’s division, Luma Wealth Advisors, to help grow its footprint.
Michelle worked at Charles Schwab & Co., most recently as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Legacy Village office, as well as Fidelity Investments in a number of roles.
She is a CRPC designee and a graduate of the University of Kentucky School Of Business. Michelle lives in Lorain with her husband Nathan and their daughter. In the warmer weather, she enjoys spending time boating on Lake Erie with family and friends.
Annika Traner joined Luma Wealth in October of 2019 as the Marketing Coordinator. Before coming to Luma, Annika worked at another financial advisory company, and was responsible for all advertising, events, marketing analytics, and graphic design. Her four years of experience in marketing and client services within the financial industry has not only made for an easy transition to Fairport, but also brings a new set of skills to the existing marketing team.
Annika is a Cleveland native, but is a dual citizen of America and Denmark, and speaks fluent Danish. She currently resides on the far west side of Cleveland in North Ridgeville. Annika is a passionate supporter of the Cleveland APL and its affiliates and loves all animals. On the weekends, Annika enjoys riding her bike through the Metroparks, cooking for her family and friends, and playing various video games and board games.
Joyce A. Zak, CRPC®, FPQP™
Joyce A. Zak brings over 25 years of experience to Luma Wealth. Joyce supports multiple client teams as an Advisor. She is responsible for managing client relationships and the preparation of client core deliverables including asset allocation, cash flow, balance sheet, income tax planning and compliance, estate planning and forward-looking financial planning.
Joyce has been with the practice since 2000. Previously, she worked at McDonald Investments, McDonald Trust Company, and Aetna Life & Casualty/Travelers Indemnity. Joyce earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting from Baldwin Wallace College. She earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designations from The College for Financial Planning.
Joyce and her husband Jim live in Brunswick, Ohio, with their two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and supporting her daughters’ soccer teams.
Paul A. Zappala
Director of Operations and Information Technology
Paul Zappala provides more than 40 years of experience in both public and private sector information technology, with over 18 years in the financial services industry. Paul serves as the team’s Director of Operations and Director of Information Technology. He demonstrates leadership and oversight within the two functional areas.
Paul has been with Luma Wealth since its founding, having joined Roulston & Company in 2000. Previously, he was Information Technology Manager at Conely, Canitano, and Associates, and Data Systems Manager for the Ohio Turnpike Commission. Earlier, he served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years attaining the rank of Major.
Paul is a graduate of Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science. Active in the local community, Paul serves as a member, and past chairman, of the Security Committee for Midtown Cleveland, Incorporated. Paul resides in Bay Village and has three children.
