Portfolio Manager

Christopher “Mac” Muirhead is an experienced portfolio manager and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He manages investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, non-profits, trusts and foundations.

Before joining Fairport Wealth, Mac was an Assistant Chief Investment Officer at Winslow Asset Management, where he communicated investment philosophy, process and strategy to trustee boards, investment consultants and individual clients. While in this role, he regularly conducted proprietary and fundamental research on stocks across multiple industries and asset classes. Prior to this role at Winslow, he was an Equity Analyst at Longbow where he covered a wide range of equity securities from multiple industries and an Operations Engineer at The Boeing Company.

Mac earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, and later received his master’s in business administration from John Hopkins University.

Mac has served on the Board of the CFA Society Cleveland since 2018, and currently serves as the organization’s President. He also serves as the Treasurer and a coach of the Hudson Youth Lacrosse Association. Mac resides in Hudson with his wife Lori, his two daughters Blair and Bevin, and loves getting outdoors to ski and play sports with his family.
